Siberia and the Far East

Siberia People Siberia & the Far East are located across northern Russia between the Ural Mountains and the Pacific Ocean. Siberia and the Far East were always the places where different cultures and traditions adjoined in spite of small density of population. Peoples there maintain the original way and national colour of life. There is the unique place with ancient cultures of Asia and Russian Christian traditions are bond so quaint. Since the ancient times, Siberia has been occupied by different nationalities and inhabited the Northern Siberia and some others lived in the South. Snowy wilderness, but that terrain is only part of the picture.  Siberia also contains the world's largest forest, Lake Baikal and cultures that are somewhat reminiscent of Native American Indians.  Horseback riding, river cruises and hiking are some of the activities that can be enjoyed there.  Several major cruise lines offer itineraries from Alaska to Siberia.
