Night Clubs in Moscow

Moscow's nightlife is notorious, student communities’ turn into the capital city. There is a surprisingly trendy and innovative underground scene; although a bit of local knowledge is usually required to unlock these secrets.  Many clubs offer "exotic" evening entertainment and it can sometimes be hard to differentiate between those that have some kind of adult floorshow and those that don't before you pay the usually high cover charge for admission. Although the better clubs in the city are usually safe for example.

They have a non-stop men's striptease on Mondays from 10 pm with free admission. 'New Stars of Striptease' on Tuesdays (10 pm ), and 'The Night of Dirty Dances' on Wednesdays, when everyone is encouraged to take off his or her clothes. Thursday through Sunday, there's a men's erotic show 'Arcadia', starting 10:30 pm. Non-stop men's striptease till 5 pm. Entry: Tue-Sun – 350 roubles ($12). The bar offers a good choice of cocktails, and friendly barmen will make you feel at ease. This place is not a gay club.

HCircus (Tsirk)
Circus is one of glitzy Moscow's main nightspots. It's expensive, including classical Roman styling and a VIP-lounge from where the lucky few get to look and lord it over the rest of the club. Beers start at just over 140 roubles ($5) but it's not the sort of place to be caught drinking something as common as beer - you'd be advised to have a go at something like Hennessy cognac, available for 200 - 500 roubles ($8 to $20) a pop.

HEmbassy Club
This has become one of Moscow's top relaxation joints, and remains the only dedicated cigar bar in town. Music is suitably laid back but still imaginative. Attack one night to jazz the next. Wednesdays feature a cognac-and-Cuban-cigar deal for 280 roubles ($10). Drinks are quite expensive for visitor, but the food is reasonably priced and service is polite as well as uncommonly professional.
