Russian Language

Russian is a language spoken by more than 200 million people, many of whom are monolingual, that is, they speak only Russian. Beautiful and emphatic, the Russian language is expressed in Cyrillic alphabet.

The Russian alphabet consists of 33 letters. The following table gives their upper case forms, along with IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet) values for each letter's typical sound. Russian is spoken in Russian Federation, Ukraine, Belorussia and other republics of former USSR. Russian is not a language you can just pick up after hearing it for a few days.

Russian language is really difficult, Russian is classified as a level III language in terms of learning difficulty for native English speakers, besides having another type of alphabet, there are a lot of unusual and uncommon sounds in Russian language and some people never get to pronounce them correctly. Also the grammar is very complicated and unusual compared to other languages.
