Popov Island

It is located to the south of Muravyev Amursky Peninsula; it is a research base for the Far Eastern Marine Nature Preserve. It is one of the most unique Nature Preserves in Russia. It is protects the environment of the extremely rich sea and island flora and fauna.  The Preserve contains the richest variety of biological species in Russia. A fishing factory, cannery, fur-breeding farm are located on the island.

The Arseniev Museum of Regional Studies

It is the biggest museum of the Russian Far East that was sounded over 100 years ago. His halls tell you about the ancient history of region, the mysterious countries Bahai and Djurdjeny, about wonderful nature of the region.

The Fortress of Vladivostok

The concrete fortifications were built on the tops of the hills of Vladivostok. The fortress was to protect the city and the railway from sea and land attacks. Many articles are written by famous people who research the fortress and Primorsky region and exhibited without changes.

The Museum of Submarine C-56

The group of submarines left Vladivostok to Murmansk for military actions in the north of the USSR. They fought in many cruel battles. "C-56" was the only submarine that had escaped damage. It came back to the home city across the Arctic. So it was the first submarine in the world that had made circum navigation.

Vladivostok Railway Station

The Vladivostok Railway Station built in Russian architectural style of the 17th century, modelled after the Yaroslavsky Railway Station in Moscow (the beginning of the Trans-Siberian Railroad). You will see the last milestone of the Trans-Siberian Railroad with the inscription on it: “Here is the terminus of the Great Trans-Siberian Railroad.
